Sharper Night – European Researchers’ Night, an international event dedicated to the dialogue between research and citizens promoted by the European Commission as part of the Marie Curie actions, returns on Friday 27 September 2024.
The initiative is carried out with the coordination of Psiquadro and in collaboration with a consortium composed of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics – INFN, Immaginario Scientifico and five universities: Polytechnic University of Marche, University of Cagliari, University of Catania, University of Palermo, University of Perugia.
A festive reunion of researchers will animate events for all ages, organized in city squares, laboratories and theaters of 15 Italian cities: Ancona, Bari, Camerino, Cagliari, Catania, Genoa, L’Aquila, Nuoro, Palermo, Pavia, Perugia, Sassari, Terni, Trieste and Urbino.
The program includes more than 800 initiatives between in-person events and online activities: shows and concerts, live and virtual visits, workshops, seminars and conferences, demonstrations and open labs, physical exhibitions and digital exhibitions, games and quizzes.
For more than a decade, Observa Science in Society has coordinated the event monitoring and evaluation.
