In collaboration with the Research and Innovation Unit for Schools of the Bruno Kessler Foundation, this initiative, which forms part of the CISA (Cittadini per la Scienza) project funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento aims first and foremost to create a series of procedures and methods that will allow the citizens of the Province of Trento to present suggestions, ideas and proposals in relation to specific needs and requirements. Secondly, the goal is to involve students attending upper secondary-level schools in both the collection and assessment of the proposals made by local citizens and in the conception and implementation of properly structured research projects based on citizens’ requests.
The aim of the project is thus twofold: on the one hand it fosters active involvement on the part of citizens in the research activities of the Bruno Kessler Foundation and on the other hand it will offer young students an opportunity to become aware of the needs of the local community they belong to and become engaged in the planning and implementation of a research activity based on a very real need, in the name of civil society.
Observa will carry out an assessment of the project.
