The production of safe food for both the environment and the human health is one of the main challenges that the European Union intends to address through research projects and the involvement of various social components. For this reason the European Commission funded INPROFOOD, a project coordinated by the University of Hohenheim in Germany, which will promote awareness to citizens, companies and public administrators to face food challenges for the next ten years.
Observa coordinates and implements the project activities in Italy through the organization of meetings in the form of Scenario Workshop. At present, the second series of meetings which will be held in Vicenza on 24 and 25 May is being planning.
More information about Inprofood program and related activities can be found on the page project Inprofood.
